This is a template for a letter that an advisor can use in order to make meaningful contact with their clients about their websites while at the same time asking for referrals to new clients.

An effective website can have a significant impact on your marketing initiatives and your practice. Few will argue that you absolutely need one in this day and age. Most consumers these days will do one type of on-line research or another before buying a product or a service. Have you ever gone online to research and compare a Television, Car, Golf Course etc… before actually making the purchase? Consumers will go through a similar process when choosing a financial services professional.
So how do you prepare yourself as a financial advisor to get a website up and running?

I wanted to provide a checklist of items that you may want to have ready before starting the project. You do not need to have all items ready but this should give you an idea of items to think about. This should make the process much easier and enjoyable.
