What is ShareFile?

Citrix ShareFile provides a software solution that allows businesses to exchange confidential documents with clients and partners in a secure online setting.

What is the integration?

The Advisor Websites and ShareFile integration creates a login form on your website where clients can access their ‘client portal’ or ‘vault’ in order to exchange necessary personal files with you. The client login form can be a separate page on your website or embedded somewhere on an existing page.

What is the benefit?

The ability to share private documents with clients in an easy and secure manner allows you to better serve their needs. An online vault helps eliminate lost documents and time to fax machines and physical mail, ensuring a more efficient and effective way to maintain your clients’ privacy.

Instead of navigating away to a separate online location when accessing their accounts, clients are kept on your page, a website that they already trust. Because the client portal opens on your website, the space reflects your firm’s unique branding.

How does the integration work?

Clients log into their accounts from your website and upload any necessary files to the vault, which after being granted permission, you can access. All confidential papers remain safe and secure. Clients can also use their portals for other document exchanges, choosing to share them with whomever they wish.

What do I need to integrate?

To integrate you need two things:

  1. An Advisor Websites account
  2. A Citrix ShareFile account

For more information on how to install and use the integration, read Knowledge Base from Support.

How much does it cost?

The integration is included with your Advisor Websites subscription at no extra cost. Pricing and more information on ShareFile can be found here.
